Elite Overview

Fall 2016 marked the rebirth of a national treasure when the Old Post Office Building opened as the Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C. Built on Pennsylvania Avenue in 1899, the castle-like building stretches 315 feet high, making it the second tallest building in the city and providing guests with panoramic views of Washington, D.C.
In keeping with the building’s stature, the 263 guest rooms and suites are among the largest in the city. They set a regal tone with thick wool carpets, richly polished wood furnishings, soaring windows, glittering sconces, and chandeliers hanging from 14- to 16-foot ceilings. Three extraordinary Presidential Level Suites measure 2,500, 3,500, and 6,300 square feet—the Trump Townhouse offering the largest private hotel living space in Washington, D.C.
Another impressive feature, the Presidential Ballroom, ranks as the largest luxury ballroom in the city at 13,200 square feet. The Lincoln Library and Franklin Study, located in the main building, add beautiful stages for smaller meetings and events with their soaring 25-foot ceilings and arched windows.
Other highlights include the restaurant BLT Prime by David Burke, Benjamin Bar & Lounge located in the sun-filled Grand Lobby and a 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness facility and Spa by Ivanka Trump. Yet another special feature: daily National Park Service tours of the Clock Tower and Bells of Congress, leading up to the tower’s glass-lined elevator and truly commanding overviews of the nation’s capital.
