Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
In honor of Queen Elizabeth II's second stay in 2007, two Royal Suites now grace the Williamsburg Inn. Built in Williamsburg, Virginia, by John D. Rockefeller in 1937, and completely renovated in 2001, the inn combines a nineteenth-century regency decor with twenty-first century amenities. Guests enjoy a choice of 62 rooms and suites at the inn as well as 48 accommodations in Providence Hall, its guesthouses, and carriage house.
The inn maintains three small meeting rooms for groups of up to 80. It also offers two small rooms at Providence Hall plus another 45,000 square feet at the nearby Williamsburg Lodge Conference Center. After meetings, guests can regroup for afternoon tea by the inn's fire, play golf or tennis, dine on gourmet fare, or walk to the nearby shops, museums, or Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg.
