Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
The grand opening for The Westin Dallas Downtown on December 29, 2015, unveiled a remarkable new resource for meetings in the central business district of Dallas, Texas. Its 26 venues total 31,437 square feet, including the glass-enclosed Willow Pavilion on the plaza level, the second floor’s Bluebonnet Ballroom, and the third floor’s 13 flexible conference rooms. The offerings continue on the thirty-second floor, where the Pecan Ballroom, Wisteria and Foxglove Boardrooms, and Redbud Meeting Room offer extensive views.
Only the lofty Pecan Ballroom’s stunning overview of the city rivals those of the penthouse fitness center, indoor pool, and two-story penthouse suite. The latter completes a collection of 326 luxury lodgings, all with Heavenly Beds, Heavenly Baths, and the full complement of other signature Westin amenities. Guests can call for in-room dining and refreshments 24 hours a day—or drop by the European sidewalk–style Café Strada, New Orleans–inspired NOLA Brasserie, or trendy Grill & Vine restaurant and lobby bar downstairs.
The hotel shares the landmark One Main Place tower with newly renovated retail and office space next door to Belo Garden, a leafy 1.7-acre oasis in the heart of downtown. Guests also have direct access to the vast underground network of retail businesses in Dallas—not to mention the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, and four-line Akard light rail station just a short stroll away.
