Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal borrowed inspiration from Venice when it designed its new luxury beach resort in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The crescent-shaped, Renaissance-style complex centers around a Venetian-style waterway. Highlights found within include 447 guest rooms and suites, 85 private villas, a 21,500-square-foot spa, and nine on-site restaurants with menus ranging from Asian to steakhouse to contemporary Arabic.
Fourteen spacious meeting rooms and the 16,685-square-foot Roma Ballroom hold one-of-a-kind affairs, supported with the latest technology. The neighboring Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, an architectural marvel with its 82 domes, and the third largest mosque in the world, provides spectacular views for gatherings. Guests with time to spare can tour former palaces and desert camps, or pursue exotic pastimes like falconry and camel trekking.
