Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Views of the fascinating Sonoran Desert and the Santa Catalina Mountains in the distance tend to sweep first-time visitors to The Lodge at Ventana Canyon off their feet. A Tucson hideaway, the 50-suite, four-diamond resort caters equally to tennis and golf enthusiasts, with ten hard courts for tennis and two beautiful Tom Fazio–designed golf courses. Both pastimes can be weaved into corporate events and become even more enjoyable in the exotic natural setting.
The views don’t stop when the meetings start however. The Lodge at Ventana Canyon features floor-to-ceiling vistas in its Sabino and Catalina rooms, part of its 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space for groups of 10 to 120. Extensive mountain views accompany meals in the Catalina Room, as well, where Chef Joe Martin pairs American cuisine with Southwestern flair with an eclectic wine menu. The Ventana Bar & Grill offers a more casual alternative for cocktails, conversation, and comfort food.
Guests revive in their choice of 50 recently renovated suites, all offering kitchenettes and dining areas, oversized bathrooms, and patios or balconies. When not engaged in golf or tennis, guests might spend their leisure time lounging by the new resort pool, hiking, riding horseback, and taking Jeep tours of the natural wonders of Ventana Canyon and Sabino Canyon State Park.
