Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Renowned French architect Jean Nouvel drew inspiration for Sofitel Vienna Stephansdom from the Gothic magnificence of Vienna’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral. His avant garde reinterpretation creates a bold artistic statement in the heart of Old Vienna. Inside, modern, monochromatic furnishings found in the 182 rooms and 26 suites set a striking contrast to floor-to-ceiling views of the historic skyline.
Meeting facilities occupy the fourth floor, accommodating up to 130 guests in nine sleek, light-filled rooms and awe-inspiring breakout spaces. Event planners work behind the scenes to provide bespoke solutions for innovative conferences, meetings, product launches, even fashion shows. Plus, the hotel’s location offers proximity to a number of nearby attractions. Along with St. Stephen’s Cathedral, guests may easily spend their free time with visits to museums, trendy coffeehouses, luxury boutiques, and the Vienna Opera House.
