The San Mateo Marriott San Francisco Airport invites groups to meet in 22,000 square feet of flexible, tech-savvy space for business and banquets. The largest of 23 rooms holds up to 700 people. Outside, another 11,000 square feet for events allows planners to take full advantage of the resortlike setting, poolside patio, and Mediterranean climate in San Mateo, California.
A recent $10 million makeover swept through everything from the meeting rooms and lobby to the 476 guest rooms, fitness center, Market Place cafe, and California Grill & Bar. And yet, understandably, the superb location remains the No. 1 attraction for some attendees. They find themselves within ten minutes of the airport by complimentary shuttle and within a half hour's drive of just about everything in Silcon Valley and the city of San Francisco.
