**COVID-19 Update: In response to COVID-19, this hotel has temporarily suspended operations. Sales team members remain available to support meeting inquires and respond to RFPs for future business. We appreciate your patience during this time and look forward to welcoming your business to the hotel in the future.**
The Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Resort tops a hill at the heart of Italy’s Eternal City. The Roman emperors of old would have appreciated its five-star amenities, from the Old Masters art that outshines pieces in most museums to the 370 regal guest rooms and suites brimming with luxuries such as travertine-marble baths, separate sitting and sleeping areas, and balconies.
The congress center houses some of the most extensive hotel meeting facilities in Europe, spanning nearly 96,000 square feet and able to host 5,500 attendees in total. The staff’s flair for the dramatic and distinctive event spaces have earned the hotel a reputation for outstanding theme parties, complete with sets, costumes, decorated backdrops, and talented performers. The venue options range from the open-air Chalet to the indoor Ellisse, an oval-shaped room where trompe l’oeil and architectural details transport guests directly to classic Rome.
To the delight of meeting guests, the hotel serves as an urban resort as much as a hotel. Rome Cavalieri Club pampers guests with signature beauty and relaxation treatments. Other leisure enticements include four swimming pools, a state-of-the art gym with Artis by Technogym equipment, Pilates and yoga rooms, two clay tennis courts, and 15 acres of lush Mediterranean gardens. One-of-a-kind offerings include high tea served beneath the hotel’s triptych of Tiepolo paintings and a nod to the ancient ethos in the form of gladiator training.

AMAZING job to make our event a real success. Aurelien helped and supported us during all the proposal and commercial stage (which was very very long!). Aurelien gave regular follow up, recommendations, advice, understood our needs, had a professional attitude during the several site inspections, etc.
Francesco did a fabulous job--always there, ready to help, answer positively all our requests, professional, and smiling from 06:30am to 11:00pm. We would just recommend them to have a “second Francesco” as it’s really a lot of work for one person only.
Mauro and his great team had numerous changes of set up, and they did a wonderful job, being flexible at any time and always smiling and being professional.
The food and service for all coffee breaks and lunches was great.
Barbara was excellent regarding our rooming list and all the split of different room categories.
Markus and all the housekeeping team were really helpful regarding all the deliveries.
The hotel staff was professional and really nice to work with. This makes a huge difference.
We sincerely hope that we will be able to confirm others groups in this property soon.

This hotel is known by locals as the Hilton - it sits at the top of one of the seven hills of Rome in a residential neighborhood. It's one of Rome's nicer hotels. The drive-up is ehh, gardens are okay, exterior is dated and dingy looking. The lobby is large and extends out to a large patio that looks down on one of the gardens. The staff at the reception desk and cashier are rude and do not want to take any time out to assist with anything more than they have to. The CSM assigned to me was a delight to work with. He made sure all my needs and the needs of my guest were met. The lobby ceiling was a brassy gold looking grid that was quite dizzying. However the meeting room on the lobby level was beautiful and also extended out to the same large patio as the lobby, however was sectioned off by trees and planters to create a sense of privacy. The sleeping rooms were very comfortable and had large balconies with two chairs and a small table - and amazing views of Rome. Walking into my room and seeing the view - literally took my breath away. The food at the -1 restaurant (buffet breakfast) was okay. The restaurant on the 9th floor was booked so I can not comment on the food, but apparently they offer a €3,000 per person tasting menu option!!! And it's supposed to be one of Rome's best restaurants.

From the friendly greeting in the lobby upon arrival to the grand spaces for each of our events, the Rome Cavalieri was the perfect host for our weeklong incentive program. Every staff person -- from sales to the front desk and event staff -- was flexible in accommodating each request of our large and important group, making each event and overall stay at the hotel a truly special experience.

I love this property. Situated on a hill with magical views of Rome. One of the best amenities of this hotel is its swimming pool which is a rarity in a Roman Hotel. The expansive lawn and gardens are a refreshing change from the hub bub of touring all that the Eternal City has too often in options. The sleeping rooms are very generous in size and beautifully appointed. The alfresco dining is lovely and the hotel boasts one of the top restaurants in Rome. I can't recommend this highly enough. What it lacks in being in the center of Rome is more than made up by the tranquility and warmth of its staff.
