Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Set to open shortly before the Olympic Games in 2012, ME London rises from a triangular site in central London. The historic facade of Marconi House sets off a contemporary Portland stone building designed by Foster+Partners. Known for projects like the British Museum, Beijing Airport, and New York City's Hearst Headquarters, the group designed everything from the restoration and new building to the bathroom fittings. The result honors the past while marking the cutting edge of fashion today.
The hotel features a striking pyramid-shaped lobby, 173 elegant rooms and suites, fitness and business centers, Wi-Fi throughout, and nearly 8,000 square feet of meeting space. Guests can enjoy two restaurants and two bars on the premises, one on the roof with spectacular views of the Thames, London Eye, and Houses of Parliament.
