Opened in 2016, the Marriott Marquis Houston is redefining convention hotels in the heart of Texas’ largest city. Combining modern, functional design with old-fashioned Southern hospitality, the hotel is an event planner’s dream, thanks to 52 flexible, sophisticated meeting rooms, including the largest ballroom in Houston at nearly 40,000 square feet. They’re all located on three levels, with escalators and/or elevators at both ends.
Just as ideal is the property’s downtown location, steps from Discovery Green, Minute Maid Park, and the Toyota Center and connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center via a climate-controlled skybridge. The MetroRail system provides easy access to the Theater, Shopping, and Museum Districts as well.
When it’s time to relax, guests enjoy an elevated pool experience with a one-of-a-kind, Texas-shaped lazy river. They can also indulge in the full-service Pure Spa, catch a game at the two-level Biggio’s sports bar, or sample one of 200 varietals at Cueva wine bar.
Guest rooms feature views of the city skyline and nearby attractions, along with desks and ergonomic chairs that are perfect for any late-night work sessions. Four Vice Presidential and two Presidential Suites surround VIPs with floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious living rooms, and other luxuries.
