Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
With just 73 guest rooms and suites, the boutique-sized Mandarin Oriental, Munich anchors a quiet corner near the heart of Munich, near Maximilianstrasse (the city's Bond Street) and Marienplatz (its historic town square). The late nineteenth-century building displays neo-Renaissance style and charm, the furnishings reflect a neo-Biedermeier sensibility, and the accents and technology hint at Mandarin Oriental's Asian heritage and client-centric service.
Natural daylight fills the three interconnecting event spaces, where groups of up to 150 participants gather for business and banquets. The hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant, Mark's, hosts private functions as well; and a rooftop pool-and-bar terrace adds a popular option for parties from May to October. A residentially styled bar, convenient fitness center, complimentary minibars, and heated bathroom floors only hint at the level of luxury and devotion to detail.
