L'Auberge de Sedona, an 11-acre retreat at Oak Crek Canyon in the red rock country of Sedona, Arizona, holds a place on Condé Nast Traveler's Gold List as one of the world's most coveted destinations. The AAA four-diamond creekside retreat boasts rustic elegance throughout its lodge, cottages, spa, and restaurant—making the boutique property a natural for incentive awards, corporate retreats, and small business meetings that would benefit from a tranquil location and the full attention of a dedicated team of conference experts.
L'Auberge offers 26 newly remodeled guest rooms in the main lodge, 63 newly remodeled and newly built one- and two-bedroom cottages each with an outdoor deck along Oak Creek, and the Creek House, a five-bedroom retreat with a soaring great room and entertainment deck. Five plug-and-play conference rooms and four awe-inspiring outdoor venues host events of all descriptions. Custom catering draws on the same talented kitchen and sommelier as the resort's highly regarded restaurant, where executive chef David Schmidt draws inspiration from the tables of France, Italy, Spain, and Greece.
Along with gourmet dining, favorite group activities include team building in the red rocks (from easy nature hikes to rock climbing), cattle drives, and four-wheel adventures through some of the most spectacular scenery in North America. Individual pleasures start with spa time and dips in the new saltwater pool, and go on to exploration of uptown Sedona, which features an irresistible lineup of shops and eateries a short stroll away.

Elizabeth and Deb were top notch to work with. Smooth checkin. We used the Ranch House for our main meeting area and rented all the cottages along the river. Beautiful, quiet and very relaxing. Will go again.

I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism offered by the L' Auberge staff—excellent customer service at its finest.

I visited L'Auberge de Sedona for a vacation recently. The property is gorgeous. A series of quaint cottages overlooking a gentle creek with a canopy of trees; complete serenity. There are also a number of rooms in the main lodge that are cozy. The level of service is just what you would expect in a small hotel. You are treated like a personal guest throughout your entire stay. A wine and cheese reception is held each night by the main fireplace, star gazing each Friday evening and coffee, tea and freshly baked scones are available each morning.
A few things to make note of: there is a $25 fee per room per day in lieu of tips. As well, this is a resort for the older traveler, preferably couples. Children would be out of place here as would young singles. Whereas there is so much to do in Sedona during the day such as hiking and jeep tours, it's a sleepy town at night, so those craving nightlife may want to just make a day trip into Sedona; the scenery is stunning and well worth the drive.
