Highlighting New Dining Options
InterContinental Los Angeles is an iconic Hollywood landmark just minutes from Century City's major entertainment studios, Beverly Hills' world-class shopping on famed Rodeo Drive and, of course, the Pacific Ocean's year-round, sun-soaked beaches.
The property was recently renovated, unveiling all new guestrooms and suites, redesigned public and meeting spaces, and the debut of two new dining concepts – Copper Lounge and the new signature restaurant, Mari Los Angeles. The multi-million-dollar project, which also brought several new accommodation types, welcomes a fresh take on a more modern, luxury California-inspired look and feel.
Dedicated to providing guests with the exceptional service they've come to expect from the global luxury brand, the timeless hotel evokes a unique sense of understated elegance and modern glamour that can only be found in the great City of Angels. The hotel’s five-star amenities include all the luxuries and comforts guests would expect – and some they’d only dream of.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
The hotel commissioned Los Angeles-based firm The Design Studio for its recent remodel to all 363 spacious guest rooms and suites. The design team drew inspiration from the glamour and sophistication of Beverly Hills, focusing on two color palettes – shades of soothing green symbolizing balance and good health and a light purple hue, evoking a sense of luxury and royalty.
Each room features modern furniture shapes rendered in rich wood veneer. With relaxation in mind, the final touches include a palette of wood surfaces, neutral fabrics and soft goods. The layout invites guests to relish the impressive views of Hollywood, Downtown Los Angeles or the Pacific Ocean from each room’s private balcony or terrace.
Elegant upholstered headboards and crisp white bedding with down duvets add to the hotel chic. For some sparkle, the designers added crystal columnar lamps to the bedside tables and judicious pops of color with geometric and striped accent pillows in tones of amethyst, plum and chartreuse. A series of abstract ink artworks by Kim Johnson adorn each room.
Guests enjoy state-of-the-art amenities like flat-screen HDTVs with premium cable channels, iPod docking stations and wireless high-speed Internet access. The luxurious bathrooms are outfitted with Italian marble and each has a walk-in shower and a separate soaking tub, along with plush Italian down bed linens, bathrobes, slippers and Spa InterContinental’s signature lemon verbena-scented amenities from Agraria.
The hotel’s crown jewel, the Royal Suite, features two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, Lavazza espresso machine, wine cooler and fully stocked wet bar, as well as a library with a 55-inch TV and LED fireplace. The spacious living area boasts a 60-inch TV and an open floor plan, leading into an elegant dining room with an eight-foot LED fireplace. Colorful LED lighting lines the living and dining rooms with vibrant, customizable shades from royal blue and sea green to bright fuchsia and romantic red. The master bathroom features two rainfall showers and a soaking tub big enough for two with large sliding windows showcasing the incredible views of the Hollywood Hills. The second bedroom includes an attached office space that can also double as another bedroom. Balconies wrap around the entire suite.
The newly introduced One Bedroom Premier Terrace Suites offer the ultimate California luxury with 275 square feet of private outdoor space, complete with lounge chairs, relaxing daybeds with curtains and overhead shade, and a living plant wall with native, drought-tolerant succulents, creating a cozy, breezy reprieve high above the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Inside, the 784-square-foot corner suite has a separate bedroom with a king-size bed. Decorated in the hotel’s new classic yet modern style in hues of either soothing green or a relaxing light purple, the suite includes a dining table, work station, lounge area with a sleeper sofa and an elegant bathroom with a separate step-in shower and soaking tub.
In an effort to cater to the growing number of large families and group travelers, the hotel also introduced five sets of suites with an inter-connecting option of four neighboring suites, allowing guests the ability to gather and socialize together while still offering the privacy of individual rooms. The connecting suites now come together to essentially create a four-bedroom residence, which speak to the increased number of extended stay guests.
DINING:
Mari Los Angeles is the personal passion of the hotel’s owner. Inspired by her Japanese heritage and global travels, Mari shares the cuisine of the world with guests who visit this elegant dining room. The current menu features influences ranging from Italy and Peru to Indonesia and India. Mari’s global cuisine, which benefits from the bounty of farm fresh-produce in Southern California is masterfully prepared by Executive Chef Jonathan Wood and his talented culinary team. The dining room of Mari Los Angeles is at once metropolitan and classic California chic. Just steps from the lobby and new Copper Lounge, conveniently located on the ground floor, the modern white space flows naturally into an expansive outdoor garden, creating an indoor outdoor dining venue that allows guests to enjoy Los Angeles’ sun and warmth year round.
Nearby Copper Lounge, inspired by the copper stills used to distill the world’s finest whiskies, offers a sophisticated gathering place to socialize and relax. Comfortable seating, a dramatic floor to ceiling glass wall revealing the extensive selection of fine wines and beautiful copper leaf surfaces create an elegant lounge setting. A thoughtful cocktail program caters to the connoisseur of fine whiskeys with aged spirits from around the globe, featuring selections from the U.S., the United Kingdom and Japan. Copper Lounge also offers a curated cigar menu for guests who wish to enjoy alongside a nice after dinner drink in the beautiful outdoor courtyard garden. Designed to complement the cocktail offerings, the dining menu at Copper Lounge is a sophisticated mix of light globally inspired dishes perfect for a shared snack or a more hearty meal of traditional bar favorites.
SPA & FITNESS:
The hotel offers a 24-hour fitness center to accommodate any travelers’ schedule. It is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiovascular machines, free weights and steam baths. The outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi are also available to all hotel and spa guests. Spa InterContinental features large, newly remodeled locker rooms outfitted with TOTO EcoPower, high-efficiency sensor faucets and flush valves. Among other power- and water-saving technologies in place in the new spa, TOTO’s Aero Rain Showers use AeroJet+ technology that offers a luxury shower experience while respecting the water supply by injecting air into the water to increase volume. New steam rooms and saunas have also been upgraded to the highest standards, complementing the spa’s four spacious indoor/outdoor treatment rooms. Hotel guests have access to all spa amenities during their stay.
MEETINGS & EVENTS:
The hotel offers a number of stylish, flexible meeting and event spaces with upgraded features and several with indoor-outdoor connectivity – just what visitors hope for when coming to warm and sunny Los Angeles. The Grand Salon Ballroom is the hotel’s largest event space, featuring customizable LED lighting that plays beautifully off the elegant chandeliers and mirrored wall accents. The 4,000-square-foot space can be divisible into four sections or opened up to accommodate up to 300 seated guests.
The hotel’s second largest ballroom is the Grand Chateau ballroom, which was renovated in Fall 2015. The space now features a built-in sound system and customizable LED lighting lining the overhead perimeter, allowing the room to take on any look and feel. It opens an outdoor terrace and has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an abundance of natural light.
Located off the hotel’s ground floor lobby is the Glass Lounge, an indoor-outdoor space that also features floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as sliding doors that open into the spacious courtyard garden, totaling 4,260 square feet of event space. The Glass Lounge can be configured with plush couches or a boardroom setup, and the garden features oversized couches and fire pits with exquisite landscaping and colorful, verdant flowers throughout.
In total, the InterContinental Los Angeles offers 15 additional breakout meeting rooms, including two executive boardrooms and four chateaus with terraces and private bathrooms.

Hotel guests enjoy complimentary transportation in a Tesla Model S within 1.5 miles of the hotel, based on availability. The Tesla Model S zero-emissions sedan is a top of the line electric vehicle with all the features you would expect from one of the most revolutionary carmakers in the world. Renovation Update
Posted October 1, 2015
LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (October 2015) – InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills is scheduled to complete its renovation to all 363 guestrooms and suites by the end of 2015. The final phase of the multi-million-dollar project includes the debut of several One Bedroom Premier Terrace Suites, each with its own expansive and fully furnished outdoor space overlooking downtown Los Angeles and the nearby Hollywood Hills. Upgrades to the hotel’s spa and a sophisticated new meeting space are also scheduled for completion this fall.
The new Terrace Suites offer the ultimate California luxury with 275 square feet of private outdoor space, complete with lounge chairs, relaxing daybeds with curtains and overhead shade, and a living plant wall with native, drought-tolerant succulents, creating a cozy, breezy reprieve high above the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles.
Also debuting this fall is the newly remodeled 1,500-square-foot Grand Chateau Ballroom, which acts as the hotel’s second, smaller ballroom and has been fully upgraded with custom LED lighting, a built-in sound system and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking an outdoor patio and the Wilshire corridor, bringing in an abundance of natural light. The modern and customizable meeting and event space can accommodate groups of up to 140 people (90 seated).
The hotel’s main ballroom, the Grand Salon, and all remaining function spaces were recently redesigned in earlier phases of the renovation project, along with the hotel’s top accommodation, the two-bedroom, 3,300-square-foot Royal Suite. Earlier this year, another new accommodation configuration was introduced. Five sets of four suites now have the ability to be inter-connected, allowing guests the ability to gather and socialize together while still offering the privacy of individual rooms. The adjoining suites come together to essentially create a four-bedroom residence, which is perfect for large families and extended stay guests.
InterContinental Los Angeles is also enhancing its full-service on-site spa with larger, newly remodeled locker rooms outfitted with TOTO EcoPower, high-efficiency sensor faucets and flush valves.
“We know our guests want to take advantage of the great weather here in Los Angeles, which is why we invested into these new Terrace Suites and building out a meeting room with access to the outdoors, both of which we’re already getting great feedback on,” said InterContinental Los Angeles at Beverly Hills General Manager Steve Choe. “Another important element throughout the renovation was utilizing landscaping and technologies that help conserve water, which is important given our location and why we’re thrilled to partner with TOTO, a company that offers not only the best in design and function but also very environmentally-responsible products.”

INTERCONTINENTAL LOS ANGELES REVAMPS GUESTROOMS AND
SUITES, INTRODUCING NEW ROOM TYPES AND A FRESH, NEW DESIGN

All 363 Accommodations Offer a Private Outdoor Balcony or Terrace, and
Multi-Connecting, Spacious Suites Take on a Residential Feel For Extended Stay Guests

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (August 2015) – InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills is underway with a redesign and upgrade to all of its 363 guestrooms and suites. The multi-million dollar project, set to be complete in 2016, brings new accommodation types, including two new suite categories, and welcomes a fresh take on a more modern, luxury California-inspired look and feel.
The iconic hotel offers a range of spacious guestrooms and suites to accommodate any type of traveler, all with private outdoor balconies or terraces. As part of the renovation project, the new, expansive Elite Honeymoon Suite is added to the roster of room categories. Perfect for a romantic getaway, the 1,325-square-foot suite features an oversized soaking tub with French windows above that open into the bedroom, offering uninterrupted views, beyond the balcony to the Hollywood Hills. The suite also has a separate living and dining area, as well as a powder room.
In an effort to cater to the growing number of large families and group travelers, the hotel is also introducing five sets of suites with an inter-connecting option of four neighboring suites, allowing guests the ability to gather and socialize together while still offering the privacy of individual rooms. The connecting suites now come together to essentially create a four-bedroom residence, which extended stay guests are also looking for when choosing a hotel.
The hotel commissioned Los Angeles-based firm The Design Studio for the guestroom and suite remodel.
Every luxurious bathroom features separate walk-in showers, a soaking tub and fine lemon verbena-scented bathing amenities from Agraria.
“We are so excited to unveil the hotel’s redesign and look forward to showcasing our upgraded rooms and suites to our loyal visitors and new guests in this New Year,” said InterContinental Los Angeles at Beverly Hills General Manager Steve Choe. “Los Angeles is a competitive luxury hotel market, and we are confident our new design helps ensure that our hotel is at the top of the list for the discerning traveler.”
Other suites include Studio Suite with a separate working area, Deluxe Terrace Suite with spacious outdoor terraces, One Bedroom Executive Suite, One Bedroom Premier Suites with balconies and terraces, and One Bedroom Elite Residence Suite, which is perfect for extended stays given its large footprint and comfortable layout. The hotel’s top accommodations are the Presidential Suite and 3,300-square-foot Royal Suite, which includes two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bath, library, full kitchen and wet bar, two LED fireplaces, double walk-in rain shower and whirlpool soaking tub, as well as dramatic LED lighting to change the color and mood at any time.
The redesign to all guestrooms and suites follows the hotel’s renovation to the ground-floor meeting space, including the 4,000-square-foot Grand Salon Ballroom and expansive foyer. The 1,500-square-foot Grand Chateau Ballroom will be fully upgraded by September 2015, offering a meeting and event facility with a built-in sound system, outdoor space and multiple windows to bring in abundant natural light. The hotel is also in the midst of a spa redesign. Partnering with Japanese-based TOTO, spa locker rooms, steam rooms and sauna have been upgraded to the highest standards. A new restaurant concept is also in the works for 2016.
