Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Groups seeking the crème de la crème of Parisian luxury hotels find just what they’re after at Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris. Centered on the red awnings of the fabled Fouquet’s brasserie at the corner of the Champs-Elysées and Avenue George V, the hotel combines the heights of glamour, technology, and five-star service at the very heart of the city’s Golden Triangle.
Dining plays a major part in the hotel’s enormous charisma. The hotel itself dates from 2006—built and run with a focus on earth-friendly operations—but Fouquet’s dates back to 1899. Marlene Dietrich, Maurice Chevalier, Georges Simenon, Orson Wells, and Jeanne Moreau count as just a few of the brasserie’s loyal patrons through the years. The culinary incentives continue with three bars and four other restaurants, including Michelin-starred Le Diane, a leading light in haute French gastronomy, and Le Petite Maison de Nicole, which brings the best of Provence to Paris.
While the 48 rooms and 33 suites rate among the most opulent in town, the highlights go on to include a Shiseido-branded spa with pool and fitness center and meeting space for up to 200 people. Groups gather in four newly renovated conference halls overlooking the Champs-Elysées and Avenue George V and the Alexandre Boardroom overlooking an interior garden. Five floors up, the François-André Terrace stages affairs outdoors, against a backdrop of Parisian rooftops and the Eiffel Tower.
