Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Arecent $12-million makeover of the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley infused new levels of refinement and contemporary styling—plus conveniences such as a 24-hour marketplace and specialty coffee shop. In fact, everywhere from the fitness center to the 350 accommodations and 21,000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel embodies a chic, contemporary SoCal feel.
Groups meet in 17 conference rooms, including three modular ballrooms with a maximum capacity of 750 people. The Kensington Ballroom opens to a spacious terrace that invites planners to take full advantage of San Diego’s famous indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
The locale plays into the new Polanco Kitchen & Bar as well. It mirrors San Diego’s affinity for south-of-the-border fare with Baja- and Mexico City—inspired cuisine, craft beers, and 100 percent blue agave margaritas. The refreshed pool and deck furnishings invites guests to linger and mingle by day or evening. And the executive-level rooms share a private lounge featuring a complimentary breakfast buffet, evening hors d’oeuvres, and a bird’s-eye view from the penthouse floor.
Ideally positioned for the business traveler, the hotel’s central location places guests within easy striking distance of everything in San Diego, from the headquarters of Fortune 500 companies to golf, beach, shopping, SeaWorld, and the San Diego Zoo.
