New menu and renovated space create a neighborhood restaurant feel
Milwaukee, Wis., May 8, 2013 – Downtown Milwaukee’s Miller Time Pub & Grill, which is
owned and managed by Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, has announced a grand reopening event on Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 5:30 – 10:00 p.m., to introduce its new brand to the public.

The free block party event will take place on a closed-off section of 5th Avenue between
Michigan and Wisconsin Avenues, and will offer guests live music throughout the evening, and a taste of the new menu with complimentary food and beer samples from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Event-goers can also enjoy a free build-your-own-burger bar that will allow them to customize their burger, name it, and submit it to Miller Time Pub & Grill for a chance to see it featured on the restaurant’s menu as the ‘Grand Reopening Burger.’ Guests also will have the opportunity to sample and vote for the restaurant’s new signature house brew. All guests will be entered into a raffle to win gift cards, promotional items and more.

The party will continue from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m., with a special performance by ‘Uprising.’ Miller Time Pub & Grill will be offering dollar taps of Miller products and guests can order from the restaurant’s new menu.

Miller Time Pub & Grill is all about the perfect pairing of beer and food. The comfortable, new
neighborhood restaurant features a full menu with craft burgers, salads, entrees, desserts and an extensive draft beer selection. The restaurant also will feature certified cicerones and servers who are trained and tested on their beer knowledge and will help patrons find perfect beer pairings for every menu selection.

The restaurant was recently renovated and features iconic memorabilia, photos and vintage ads that reflect the restaurant’s relationship with MillerCoors. The original 30-foot bar will continue to serve as a focal point in the space. A comfortable loft area with leather furniture offers a more casual, comfortable space, while the main dining room features new booths and tables.

A retail area where guests can purchase Miller memorabilia, as well as Miller Time Pub & Grill merchandise, also was incorporated.

“While guests will enjoy a great menu, updated layout, and new furnishings, we think they’ll
also appreciate our continued focus on beer and the storied history of MillerCoors,” explained Chris Anderson, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Brand Development for Marcus Hotels & Resorts. “And Miller Time Pub & Grill’s unique brand is a great addition to the Milwaukee market. It is all about pairing the perfect bite with the perfect brew.”

Originally opened in April 2001, the former Miller Time Pub was developed in association with MillerCoors (Miller Brewing Co.) and was the first Miller-themed bar and restaurant to be built outside of an airport.

Miller Time Pub & Grill will soon expand to other locations in Wisconsin and beyond. In fall
2013, the restaurant will open a location at The Cornhusker, A Marriott Hotel in Lincoln, Neb.
Plans for additional locations are in the works.

Miller Time Pub & Grill is located in downtown Milwaukee at 509 West Wisconsin Avenue,
on the corner of 5th and Wisconsin Ave. Visit the restaurant’s new website,, follow it on Facebook ( or on

Creates neighborhood restaurant feel and honors beer-focused history
Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced it has reintroduced its Miller Time Pub & Grill concept, creating a comfortable, neighborhood social spot while paying homage to its beer-inspired roots.

The new concept is about the perfect pairing of beer and food. To enhance the dining experience, the restaurant, in partnership with world-class brewer MillerCoors, offers more than 25 draft options and over 50 brands of beers in a variety of growlers, yards or flights. Changes to service include staffed certified cicerones (beer experts) who are trained and tested on their beer knowledge, and available to help guests find perfect beer pairings for every menu selection.

The expanded menu features a variety of specially crafted burgers, along with lighter, healthier salads, hearty entrees including crab cakes, fish, chicken, steak and an intriguing selection of desserts. The new brand offers a beer of the month, happy-hour drafts, beer dinners and beer flights – perfect for the beer enthusiast or novice who wants
to learn more about their favorite brew.

“The enhanced Miller Time Pub & Grill concept is about making memories in a comfortable,
neighborhood restaurant with great food and great beer – all at a great price,” said Chris Anderson, senior vice president, sales, marketing and brand development for Marcus Hotels & Resorts. “Our knowledgeable and friendly servers will be there to educate patrons on all beer products and assist with their menu selection. The menu features a variety of craft burgers and appetizers that pair well with our beer selections. Whether you are watching a game on one of our many TVs or enjoying happyhour specials with co-workers, friends or family, Miller Time Pub & Grill is a place to have fun, relax and enjoy the company you are with.”

Keeping the storied history of MillerCoors in mind, the concept will feature MillerCoors décor,
including a collection of iconic memorabilia and artifacts, photos and vintage ads, as well as a retail area where guests can purchase MillerCoors and Miller Time Pub & Grill merchandise. The restaurant also features a High Life Lounge area with soft seating for group gatherings and a variety of live entertainment. A large, 30-foot bar serves as the focal point of the restaurant.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts revealed the new Miller Time Pub & Grill concept at the restaurant’s original location at the Hilton Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wis. this week. The company plans to open its second restaurant location at The Cornhusker, A Marriott Hotel in Lincoln, Neb. in August. Additional locations for the new Miller Time Pub & Grill concept are being considered.
