Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar opened in 2017 as the first — and largest — of the three hotels at the new Baha Mar resort complex. With 1,800 guest rooms, the Grand Hyatt offers amenity-filled options for every group, including Grand Suites; residences with up to three bedrooms; The Reserve, a luxury hotel within a hotel; and accommodations with views of the ocean, lake fountain, or island.
The 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space is diverse as well. Three ballrooms with nautical-inspired décor anchor the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center, which surrounds guests with stunning Bahamian art. The ballrooms’ airwalls — along with sixteen additional breakout rooms — offer the flexibility to create endless configurations. Outdoor venues include the idyllic West Gazebo, set among the blooming gardens, and 3,000 feet of glorious white sand on the beach.
For attendees seeking more leisurely pursuits, the Grand Hyatt combines with the rest of the 1,000-acre development to provide endless excitement. There’s something for everyone: the biggest casino in the Caribbean, complete with gaming, live entertainment, and ocean views; a 30,000-square-foot spa that serves up tranquil treatments and high-energy fitness equipment; and Royal Blue, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The resort also features eight outdoor pools, an art gallery, a marine life sanctuary, daily walks with flamingos, clubs and bars for a vibrant nightlife, and more than 40 dining options.
