Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Only an actual visit could top anticipation of a trip to the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, one of the world's most famous retreats. Here, European royalty and heads of state mingle with titans of industry and towering figures from the arts as they have for more than a century. Today's guests follow in the footsteps of everyone from Somerset Maugham and Pablo Picasso to Winston Churchill, Aristotle Onassis, and Paul McCartney.
The resort spans 18 seaside acres between Nice and Monte Carlo on the French Riviera. It reopened in spring 2009 after a multiyear renovation. Highlights include a new wing that brought the room count up to 73, interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon, a luxury spa, Michelin-starred chef, glamorous beach club, and four flexible conference rooms for groups of up to 100.
