Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Eden Roc at Cap Cana blends the glamour of the finest Mediterranean resorts with the relaxed charm of a Caribbean boutique hotel. Opened in December 2012, the resort introduces incentive and small conference groups to Cap Cana, a 30,000-acre master planned community at the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic. Recent accolades for Eden Roc include recognition on
Travel + Leisure’s “It List” of best new hotels, a Top 20 ranking for Caribbean hotels by
U.S. News & World Report, and a Traveler’s Choice award by TripAdvisor.
Each of the 34 freestanding suites puts the accent on privacy, comfort, and connection with nature. Ranging in size from 829 square feet up to 6,222 square feet in the four-bedroom Golden Shell Suite, each comes equipped with Bose audio systems and iPads with apps to control the lighting, sound system and TV; private pool and massage area; and golf cart for easy access to everything on the property. The pleasures at hand also include dining at four diverse restaurants and visits to the Solaya Spa, gym, and Caleton Beach Club.
Group members not playing in the sun, basking in solitude, or entertaining at home will meet for business or banquets in a central, sequestered event space. The Corallina Conference Room can be divided into two breakout rooms and adjoins the Business Center and the Mediterraneo restaurant. For extra-special occasions, the wine cellar, La Cava, will host up to 6 guests for dinners or wine tastings in the company of hundreds of bottles of the finest French and Italian vintages. Caleton Beach Club offers expansive spaces with ocean views ideal for outstanding group events.
