Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Southeast China’s coastal city of Xiamen gained Special Economic Zone status in the 1980s, and enjoys a strategic location near Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong. The Siming district, future home of Conrad Xiamen, opening in May 2016, is perhaps best known as Xiamen’s political, cultural, and financial center.
Plans for the 238-room hotel include a 9,472-square-foot ballroom, plus a variety of smaller meeting and breakout rooms. Dining experiences will take place in one of three restaurants, including one focused on Chinese cuisine. Between meetings, group members might visit the health club or pool to work out, the bar to socialize, or the spa to revitalize.
