Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Founded in 1913, Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds fronts Monterey Bay in Pacific Grove, California. It spreads over 107 acres, rambling past white sand beaches and pine forests, historic buildings in the arts-and-crafts style, and contemporary buildings designed to complement the originals.
The 30 structures include 313 accommodations and 30,000 square feet of conference space. The absence of phones and TVs in the guest rooms contributes to the atmosphere of a retreat in nature; but Wi-Fi pervades the property and, together with the latest audiovisual equipment and technology, ensures thoroughly modern meetings.
Guests can enjoy fresh, local, family-style fare in Crocker Dining Hall, light meals and refreshments at Phoebe's Café and Hearst Social Hall, or gather for custom catered affairs in the wide choice of venues for meetings and events of all kinds.
