Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
The only hotel on Wall Street opened in January 2010 as part of the Andaz family of boutique-style hotels from Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. The new Andaz Wall Street claims 13 floors of a former Barclays Bank building at the pulse point of power in New York City. It lies just up the street from where, in 1792, 12 stockbrokers gathered under a buttonwood tree to
sign the agreement that launched the New York Stock Exchange.
Designed by New York's celebrated Rockwell Group to please the upscale tastes of lower Manhattan, the hotel features 253 loft-like guest rooms and suites, all at least 345 square feet and with a clean-lined residential feel. Guests encounter the same relaxed, contemporary style at the spa, fitness center, Bar Seven Five, and Wall & Water, the hotel's signature restaurant overlooking the East River from one whole side of the building. Known for its friendly open kitchen and seasonal Hudson Valley cuisine, the restaurant includes a private dining room and a popular chef's table seating 12.
The dedicated meeting space forms an innovative conference center on a floor of its own, 5,920 square feet furnished in a comfortable residential style. Known as the Andaz Studios, it offers up to five contiguous rooms sharing a lounge and communal kitchen, where Andaz chefs create fresh, made-to-order fare while chatting with delegates during meeting breaks and meals.
