Midcentury modern nostalgia meets modern Miami Beach style at The Confidante. Part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection, the hip property encompasses three towers, including the first modern skyscraper in Miami Beach. The interior, designed by renowned British designer Martin Brudnizki, pays tribute to the building’s roots while exuding contemporary glamour and bohemian whimsy. Each of the 354 guest rooms and suites offers vibrant décor and ocean or city views.
After $8.5 million in renovations, the 15,000 square feet of indoor meeting space also embodies Miami Beach style, thanks to fresh design elements and enhanced technology. The renovations also included the addition of the 4,639-square-foot Carmen Miranda Ballroom, complete with prefunction area and private wraparound terrace. Outside, another 15,000 square feet allows for beautiful events by the pool, on the beach, or in The Backyard garden, a secluded spot for casual cuisine and live music. Catering calls on the talents of the culinary team at Bird & Bone, an onsite restaurant featuring innovative Southern-inspired cuisine — including its signature fried chicken — in a contemporary, rustic atmosphere.
Much of The Confidante’s lifestyle involves dining and nightlife, but guests also find seaside rejuvenation at a rooftop spa and fitness center. Other options for relaxation include two pools with cabanas and private bungalows, as well as a private beach set off by retro-chic sun loungers and umbrellas.
