Paradisus Palma Real, the luxury all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, announces the launch of its new Convention Center, scheduled to debut December 1, 2013. The new Convention Center was designed by renowned architect Alvaro Sans and encompasses just under 18,000 square feet of multi-functional and flexible space. The modern facility will offer the space, service, personalized options and style to make any meeting, convention or event, a complete success.
Once the Center is completed, Paradisus Palma Real’s meeting space will total 42,000 square feet, complete with 15 conference and breakout rooms. The resort can accommodate convention attendees in its 744 guest suites and for even larger groups needing more space, the resort’s sister property, Melia Caribe Tropical, is located just a short walking distance away. Together, the combined resorts contain 1,900 suites, 63,000 square feet and 31 conference and breakout rooms.
The new state-of-the-art Convention Center will provide everything needed to experience complete turnkey high level general sessions and entertainment in Punta Cana. Guests of Paradisus Palma Real will be able to plan events with the latest in technology and audiovisual equipment. The resort partnered with the American Audio Visual Center (AAVC) along with Caribbean Audio Visual Center (CAVC) and Blue Avenue Studios, for their full-service creative content, show production and audio visual technology needs. AAVC is an expert in the use of 3D site visit technology, various levels of video mapping, wireless and immersive gesture technology.
