The concept is original and takes advantages of its location near the Châtelain Food Market taking place every Wednesday. All the participants when arriving, go to Market to choose their ingredients accompanied by the Chef, cook with him and finally taste their own preparation, all of it in a friendly environment. This formula is accessible for everyone, from 10 to
50 persons, every Wednesday for lunch or dinner.

Le Châtelain Boutique Hotel is always innovating in order to continuously satisfy its clientele. Today, the hotel is again springing a surprise by organising Cooking Classes.
Taking advantages of the proximity of the Châtelain Place and its well- known Food Market every Wednesday afternoons, the hotel organises cooking Classes where everyone go to the market with the Chef to stock up all the required food items, cook and prepare all the dishes with him and finally savour all the home made dishes in conviviality. A kitchen and all its cooking equipment are at the disposition of the group in order to cook in the perfect environment. In addition, a dinner room is set up for all the participants. Appetizers and wine are served during the workshop. Various formulas and themes are offered to cook with friends, family or colleagues, the size of a group can vary from 10 to 50 people. The package and the staff are adapting depending on the size of the group in order to always keep the perfect level of quality and service in a friendly atmosphere.
Cooking classes are open to everyone, clients of the hotel or not, beginner or qualified cook. The hotel can organize those events every Wednesday, day of the Châtelain Market.
The creative Cuisine of La Maison du Châtelain
The Chef organising the Cooking Classes and in charge of the Restaurant La Maison du Châtelain is Nicolas Gadomski from the north of France. He’s been the Executive Chef of Le Châtelain Boutique Hotel for over two years now. His cuisine highlights the authentic taste of the quality products he is working with. He revisits the standards of the French and Belgian gastronomies by adding some creativity and a touch of whimsy. Mr Gadomski is always creating surprises and his dishes are enjoyed first of all with the eyes, such as his Foie Gras in candyfloss or his Salmon Tartar and its petals shaking up preconceived ideas of dishes and exciting all of the senses.
During the Cooking Classes or in his restaurant, we notice that the Chef enjoys particularly vegetables, herbs and flowers that bring a variety of flavours and colours in every dish. Those elements fit with his cuisine inventive and creative.
