Elite Meetings International Announces AttendeeHub™
Purpose-Built Event Scheduler Offers Customizable, Mobile-Friendly Solution for Meeting and Event Managers with Programs of 10 to 10,000+ Participants.
Santa Barbara, CA - June 3, 2014 - Elite Meetings International (EMI), the leading provider of group business technology solutions, announced the launch of AttendeeHub, an online and mobile-friendly platform for scheduling appointments, managing agendas, and promoting engagement at meetings, events, and conferences of nearly every size.

EMI CEO Kelly Foy says that AttendeeHub began with the concept of a comprehensive appointment scheduler and grew from there. "We learned a great deal from our very successful FaceTime Appointment Scheduler, and used that as the launching point for this new software," Foy said. "But we built AttendeeHub to be so much more. We incorporated the expressed wishes of meeting professionals, who needed tools that would help them excel in the profession's increasingly demanding landscape and deliver ROI and added value to their participants."

AttendeeHub's core functionality allows users to schedule appointments with each other manually via the system's robust search engine. Near-term enhancements to the scheduling system will allow attendees to have their schedule pre-populated using the system's "smart technology," which scans profiles to find the most relevant matches among attendees.

Foy sees the industry trending heavily toward appointment-based events. "Even those meetings and events that don't currently offer appointments will almost certainly do so in the future - because the ROI is so much greater when people meet face-to-face. Efficient management of that element is key. That's why we believe that every program that has, or will have, an appointment component stands to benefit from this technology," he said.

Although AttendeeHub was built as software, it also works on any mobile device for use in real-time, real-world situations. Enhancements in development will soon enable AttendeeHub to operate either as a standalone app or in conjunction with other mobile event apps and registration software.

Although AttendeeHub is being unveiled at the Americas Meetings & Events Exhibition (AIBTM) in Orlando, the product was road tested at EMI's own event in April. Participants at EMI's April 2014 Elite Meetings Alliance (EMA) used the product to schedule face-to-face meetings, block out educational sessions, and communicate with other EMA participants before, during, and after the event. Ingram Micro's Cristina Sufrim, CMP used AttendeeHub to book her EMA appointments. She especially liked "its flexibility and easiness to check my agenda, send appointment requests and respond to appointment requests."

The knowledge gleaned from EMA attendees who used both AttendeeHub and its predecessor, the FaceTime Appointment Scheduler, has been invaluable in the design process, according to Foy.
