Excellent location in heart of Dallas business district. Great shopping and restaurants on location and nearby. Just visiting and renovations are near completed and are fabulous. Meetings and hotel reservations have been made for our groups for this May and will experience the newly renovations. Staff is friendly and accommodating and great group rates and transient rates offered. Highly recommend this property. 25 minutes from DFW airport and 15 from Lovefield.

DALLAS, TX (March 25, 2008) Westin Galleria Dallas, part of the Starwood Hotel and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. family, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary and plans to mark the special occasion with significant changes to the design of the hotel. The incorporation of a more contemporary and sophisticated design into the guestrooms will be completed this Spring.
This year marks a very special milestone for the Westin Galleria Dallas. For 25 years, weve strived to maintain our reputation for luxury and relaxation. To reach this milestone demonstrates our commitment to our guests and the Westin experience, said John Everett, general manager of the Westin Galleria Dallas. This year promises to be filled with memorable events and experiences for our guests who choose the Westin Galleria to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. We have many surprises in store for our guests and visitors, and we received great feedback from our guests on our new enhanced services including our in-room spa program with Nordstrom Spa as well as our SuperFoods-focused menu.
As part of the 25th anniversary, the Westin Galleria is seeking special memories from its guests. Whether celebrating a wedding, baby shower or other special event at the hotel since its opening in 1983, the Westin Galleria requests to be contacted at email@thepointgroup.com. Wed love to hear from our guests who visited us during those early days, and wed love to be able to share their stories in special events and projects that we are working on in honor of our anniversary, said Everett. The transformation we have seen during the last 25 years is truly remarkable. We think it will be just as exciting to see and share the evolution our guests have made over the past 25 years as well.
The hotel, centrally located at IH-635 and Dallas North Tollway, began an allinclusive renovation in 2007 and will celebrate the completion of the guest rooms expansion this month. All rooms will now include the hotels popular Heavenly Beds, while select rooms will feature Westins signature walk-in Heavenly Showers. New noise-resistant and energy-efficient glass windows will be installed, and artwork created by Texas artist James H. Evans will adorn the guestrooms. In addition to the oversized work station in each room that was created with the business traveler in mind, a UPS store will debut in the hotels business center in May.
Other key components of the renovation will be completed this spring as well. The new Westin WORKOUT powered by Reebok debuts in April and will reinforce Westins renewal philosophy of delivering a complete sensory experience of renewal.
