CHARLESTON, S.C."Bob Seidler, the innkeeper at the Wentworth Mansion', has been twice recognized for his knowledge of customer service principles, which helped him and his staff earn the Mansion its fifth diamond from AAA.
Seidler was published in the July 2007 issue of Customer Service Manager, a Great Britain-based publication. His article, The Five Diamonds of Customer Service Leadership, addressed how he helped the Wentworth Mansion become downtown Charlestons only AAA Five Diamond property and his management philosophy to improve customer service.
He was also selected to present on the same topic at the 2008 South Carolina Governors Conference on Tourism held on Feb. 13 in Columbia, S.C.
Seidler has served as the innkeeper for the Wentworth Mansion since 2001 and achieved the fifth diamond during his second year at the luxury hotel. Prior to this position, he held management and executive positions in several larger hospitality organizations, such as Hilton, Marriott and Carlson. He is also a 1973 graduate of Cornell Universitys School of Hotel Administration.
