Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort welcomes groups to the Southeast's premier meetings destination—2,265 guest rooms and over 329,000 square feet of indoor meeting space. The resort's two hotels and water-laced grounds share Walt Disney World Resort's 47 square miles with four world-renowned theme parks, two water parks, two entertainment districts, four championship golf courses, and more.

Like many other aspects of Orlando's Lake Buena Vista community, everything seems larger than life at the resort, including the pair of 55-foot dolphin sculptures atop the 27-story Dolphin Tower and the pair of monumental swans atop the 12-story Swan building. Yet even the smallest details reflect the Disney influence of inspired creativity and top-notch quality, from the art on the walls to the flowers in the garden to the garnish on the martinis.

Meeting spaces consist of countless outdoor event areas and 84 function rooms, including two executive boardrooms, four flexible ballroom options, and 110,500 square feet of contiguous trade show and convention space. Group members also enjoy the sophisticated urban feel of two redesigned lobbies, the choice of 17 spectacular restaurants and lounges, the Mandara Spa, two health clubs, five pools, and the luxurious rooms and suites featuring palm-fringed decks and Westin's Heavenly Beds—management's signature contribution to Lake Buena Vista's larger-than-life lifestyle.
Planner Reviews

We had our 2009 Annual Conference at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and had a wonderful experience. We were on the Swan side of the property. Although the property is very nice and has many amenities, this is not what gave us the memorable experience.

The people at the Swan and Dolphin were excellent! Our Convention Services Manager and Catering Manager were top notch. For being such a large property they were very accessible both in the pre-planning phase and once onsite. Our CSM would even call us on our Nextel each morning to make sure we were out of bed! I have had many experiences at other hotels where once we were onsite we never heard from the CSM and Catering Manager again. This was not the case at the Swan and Dolphin.

The food at this property was very good. Our participants really enjoyed all of the meals in the banquet space. Our Catering Manager went the extra mile to make sure we were able to have an attractive setting for our dinner events since he knew we were working with a minimal budget for extras.

We had a wonderful conference and would definitely return to this property next time we are in Orlando.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like any additional details on our meeting or our experience at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.
