Subscribe - RSS Feed Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (October 20, 2008) " The Trump International Beach Resort today announced its efforts for implementing green capabilities and plans for adopting cost-saving practices that will reduce waste and conserve natural resources.

In an effort to become more socially conscious, the Trump International Beach Resort has recently made many changes to their everyday operations in order to reduce its negative impact on the environment. The hotels top management recently formed a Green Team to support the resorts goal of becoming more clean and green. The team will work to improve upon already existing programs as well as create new ones. Currently, the resort actively recycles in their offices and guest rooms and uses an energy efficient air filter. To clean guest rooms and public areas, the hotel uses an Electrolyzer water system that promotes the Trump International Beach Resorts green initiatives while also significantly reduces maintenance costs.

The Trump International Beach Resort is currently in the process of developing and applying several new practices that will conserve resources such as a towel and linen reuse program and installing a high energy efficient lighting system. The resorts Salon and Aquanox Spa will also undergo a green makeover as they begin utilizing all natural and eco-friendly product lines and procedures.

Cond Nast Traveler publishes a readers poll to highlight the best spas in North America, the Caribbean and at sea. Readers of Cond Nast Traveler rated over 1,000 spas based on seven criteria which consisted of location, treatments, staff and service, rooms, cuisine, programs and facilities and other activities provided by the resort. Voters were asked to only cast ballots for spas they have personally visited in the past three years.

The 32-story hotel"a member of The Leading Hotels of the World"recently moved from Sonesta to independent
management this spring, exceeding the expectations of its discerning clientele. Every guest room makes the person feel like a VIP; each one is huge and has a balcony that overlooks a body of water, says Cal-Manani, adding that three quarters of the resorts 390 guest rooms and suites have an ocean view.

All guest rooms feature upscale amenities like a wet bar with mini-refrigerator and microwave oven, CD player/radio, and highspeed Internet access, with the suites offering a full kitchen and washer/dryer. This spring, all guest rooms were outfitted with 42-inch flat-screen televisions. Next year, a substantial renovation of the guest rooms will take place as a follow up to last years refurbishment project.

Trump International Beach Resort offers 22,000 square feet of exceptional meeting space, including an oceanview ballroom and 13 breakout rooms, plus several flexible special event areas. Groups can take over tropically landscaped outdoor settings or make use of the resorts American Classics Collection museum as part of the party.
