LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. - February 15, 2008 - Paige Lund has been named General Manager for The Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa. She will be responsible for overseeing all operations for the historic luxury resort, which is known as one of the premier destinations in Arizona.
Lund has 15 years of experience in the hotel industry, where she started her career in Food and Beverage and Rooms Division roles. She held positions with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts from Director of Food & Beverage to General Manager, as well as Resort Manager at the Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa. In 2002, she joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa as Director of Rooms, and was promoted to Resort Manager in 2004.
According to Mark Vinciguerra, Southwest Area Managing Director for The Luxury Collection and St. Regis Hotels, the luxury brands for Starwood, "Paige Lund brings a lot of diverse experience in many levels of management, and I am confident she will be an outstanding leader at The Wigwam."
Lund is a graduate of Northern Arizona University's School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
