The Westin Resort & Spa Cancun straddles a quarter-mile of white sand beach at the quiet end of Cancún's Hotel Zone. The spirit of modern Mexico infuses every meeting or event. It starts with the physical facilities—11 state-of-the-art conference rooms—and carries through the many services, from Mexican-themed activities to authentic regional cuisine from the caterers.

An entry foyer with spectacular views of the surroundings leads to the convention area, where triple-thick cedar doors open to the Salon Pintores, a 9,688-square-foot ballroom divisible by four. Ten more rooms include the Morelos, the most spectacular of three boardrooms, which comes with a dramatic cedar conference table, leather executive chairs, and a large terrace facing Nichupté Lagoon. The terrace and several other outdoor sites all make the most of the dual beachside setting.

Between events, guests unwind with views of the sea or lagoon from 379 accommodations. They visit four restaurants and bars offering everything from fine dining at Arrecifes to hors d'oeuvres, live music, and games of pool at the Lobby Bar. They play tennis on two rooftop courts, work out at the fitness center, and go for golf, waterskiing, parasailing, scuba diving, shopping, and colorful nightlife just minutes away. But for pure relaxation they check in to the spa, which features ten private massage cabins, a sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, and peaceful meditation lounge.

From our very first meeting here my entire group fell in love with it. The entire staff is extremely accommodating and always accessible for anything I needed during our meetings.
