Predictable sunshine, miles of golden sand, and crystal-blue water draw groups to The Westin Maui Resort & Spa year-round. The wide range of activities pleases every taste, from soothing treatments at the spa to beach and poolside sun worship, unlimited ocean sports, and golf at the 36-hole Ka`anapali Golf Resort adjacent to the resort.

Parties gathered at the Aloha Pavilion take in the full glory of the Ka`anapali Beach locale. Against a backdrop of ocean, neighbor islands, and blazing sunsets, the garden site entertains groups of up to 600 with the sound of waterfalls and rustling palms—plus beach access, a fullservice kitchen and outdoor grill, lounge area, and staging.

Indoors, the 21,000 square feet of meeting space includes two ballrooms for up to 1,000 guests, an executive boardroom, and ten rooms for breakouts. Large or small, groups benefit from a complete range of sophisticated equipment, custom catering, and an experienced meeting staff at their beck and call.

Restaurant dining ranges from exquisite Hawaiian-Pacific cuisine served by the light of flickering tiki torches to casual meals surrounded by tropical birds and swimming koi. The hotel’s motto, “Where Heaven and Aloha Meet,” applies to the 758 accommodations as well. All feature Westin’s trademarked Heavenly Baths and Heavenly Beds along with balconies facing Lanai and Molokai across the channel or the lush West Maui Mountains across Ka`anapali’s emerald fairways.

Best meeting hotel on the island for the price. Best location on the beach for boating activities. Just renovated the rooms so they look great. Geared toward family so it will be noisy. Lobby has large tree which attracts birds so at times during the day, rooms near that tree will have lots of noise and the lobby can also have the effects of that as well. But over all, one of the best values on Maui. The spa is beautiful.

Our high-profile event was an absolute success, due in large part to the unwavering professionalism of the Westin’s sales department, conference services, catering…the entire staff! Our attendees raved about the can-do spirit exhibited from start to finish. We recommend the Westin Maui Resort & Spa for any event that needs to be first class.

Commanding a spectacular stretch on famed Ka'anapali Beach, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai as well as West Maui mountains. Enjoy nature's beauty and Westin's touches of instinctive renewal within the lush surroundings of the four diamond resort. Key features include 87,000 square-foot aquatic playground with five swimming pools; award-winning spa; restaurants and bars offering diverse flavors in dramatic venues; kids club; daily cultural activities and a plethora of watersports, boating excursions and beach activities. Within walking distance are golf courses, a shopping village and historical trails. With its genuine aloha service, the world-class Westin Maui prides itself on being the place Where Heaven And Aloha Meet.

Day 1 - Unwind in Sunny Paradise
Start the day with breakfast at 'Ono Bar & Grill offering an extensive island buffet and a-la carte choices with superfoods rich in nutrients. Favorites include Scrambled Egg, Turkey & Cheddar Wrap, Maui Pineapple Spears and All Natural Granola with Low Fat Yoghurt and Berries. Explore great snorkeling spots off Ka'anapali Beach or simply relax with your favorite drink in a pool cabana by the resort's outdoor pools. Unwind with light refreshments on a sunset sail by Gemini Sailing Charters. The 64-foot catamaran sails right up to Ka'anapali Beach and offers snorkel sails and whale watch excursions (seasonal). Return to The Westin Maui Resort & Spa for a casual dinner at the Moonlight Lounge by the adult pool. Indulge in happy hour cocktails such as the famous Mai Tai. And if you fancy a bit of sightseeing, the neighboring Whalers Village has more than 80 shops, restaurants and a Whalers Museum to delight you.

Day 2 - Explore Upcountry Maui
Rise bright and early for a scenic drive to Haleakela Volcano National Park where you can catch a brilliant sunrise. Dress up in warm clothing as the temperature drops to approximately 40o C while you drive up the mountain crater. A once-active volcano, it is rich with Hawaiian culture and offers hiking trails where you will come across native plants and animals including rare and endemic species. If you are feeling adventurous, an exhilarating guided bike tour down the crater awaits you! Continue your upcountry day with stops at the scenic Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm offering lavender farm tours with varied lavender plants and Surfing Goat Dairy where you can sample flavored goat cheeses and participate in evening chores and milking goats - a fun activity for kids and adults alike! Be sure to stop at Maui's Winery at Ulupalakua Ranch. The history of the place will enchant you as much as the fruity wine flavors available for sampling. End the evening with a leisure in-room dining meal within the comfort your room designed with Westin indulgences such as the Heavenly Bed.

Day 3 - Journey into Old Hawaii
Surprise your loved one(s) with a Sunrise Breakfast set in a private cabana overlooking Ka'anapali Beach with swaying palm trees and the warm Pacific. The two-course menu selections include Sweet Maui Pineapple Brule, Kona Lobster Benedict and Macadamia Nut Sticky Bun, a local favorite. Spend the day rediscovering Hawaiian culture on the guided Ka'anapali Historical Trail. Captivating stories include the legend of Puu Kekaa and Koko O Na Moku Race Track which hosted horse races enjoyed by Hawaiian royalty and laborers alike. Hop onto the free resort shuttle for a short trip to Lahaina town. Bustling with shops, art galleries and restaurants, Lahaina was once the capital of the Hawaiian kingdom. Explore its historic trail that leads to sites such as the 137-year old banyan tree! Return to The Westin Maui Resort & Spa for a vibrant luau dinner show. Set amidst lush tropical gardens and waterfalls, Wailele Polynesian Luau transforms your evening with traditional dances, music of the Pacific, along with Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale. Replenish with a mouthwatering three-course dinner served family style.

Day 4 - Delight in Fun Escapades
Grab a quick pick-me-up coffee and pastries at Colonnade Caf before starting your day. Island Style Adventures offers stand-up paddle board lesson, kayak and surf sessions on Ka'anapali Beach. Maui Eco-Adventures' guided eco-hike includes a jungle canopy trail that passes by terraces farmed in ancient days, a giant bamboo forest, and culminates with a cool swim in a freshwater pool. Try one of the eight exciting ziplines in Ka'anapali where you will soar high above waterfalls, cliffs and lush valleys. The island also offers horseback riding along unspoiled terrain over pineapple fields and ironwood forests and a fun Sugar Cane Train Ride. Dinner is a culinary adventure at Pulehu, An Italian Grill. The signature restaurant at The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas presents Italian-style cuisine emboldened with local flavors. Favorites include Mahi Mahi Saltimboca, Vine-Ripened Kamuela Tomatoes with Buffalo Mozzarella and housemade Tiramisu. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and fro between the sister resorts.

Day 5 - A Day of Sustainable Renewal
Wake up to an invigorating morning at the Westin Workout Center or join sessions such as spinning, pilates mat work and moonlight yoga. The Westin Destination Program offers slide races, ukulele lesson, candy lei making, aqua golf, wii under the stars, swim up black jack, stargazing by the sea, dive-in movie and more. If you fancy golf, two championship golf courses are located within walking distance of The Westin Maui Resort & Spa. Spend the afternoon within the calming oasis of the award-winning Heavenly Spa by Westin. Spa pamperings include Lau Lima (many fingers) Massage, Heavenly Body Wrap with Maui lavender sugar scrub, Coffeeberry Yoga Facial, Hawaiian Salt Glow with a vichy shower and Heavenly Couples Massage and Bath in a romantic spa suite. Relax and enjoy the evening at Tropica Restaurant & Bar on Ka'anapali Beachwalk. It's the perfect setting to celebrate sunsets and experience unique dining with Hawaii's bold flavors balanced with Westin's sense of renewal. Dine under a canopy of stars with live entertainment and flickering tiki torches. Maui's picturesque paradise awaits your return.
