The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa, Victoria offers a distinct advantage for business groups in Victoria, British Columbia’s capital city. Canada’s only resort to offer 36 holes of Nicklaus Design–golf also features conference facilities totaling 6,600 square feet, a world-class spa, a premier athletic club, and five restaurants that range from fine dining to sushi, pub style, and west coast casual.

The resort lies just 20 minutes from the urban bustle of Victoria’s Inner Harbour, yet its 156 rooms and suites focus on quiet views of rolling fairways backed by Mount Finlayson and Mount Baker. Groups of up to 650 gather for business, banquets, and receptions in the Bear Mountain Ballroom, where floor-to-ceiling windows view the eighteenth green and Mount Baker beyond. While the Goldstream Room and Finlayson Boardroom add space for another 90 participants and 16 delegates respectively, professional catering and conference service teams take care of all details to ensure success and enjoyment for everyone.

Victoria rests on Vancouver Island, which boasts the mildest weather in all of Canada. The warm Pacific climate inspires planners to schedule time for outdoor activities year-round, whether golf tournaments, tennis matches, soccer games, exploring the landscaped parks and pedestrian walkways in the vicinity, the cobblestone streets of old town Victoria—or hiking the many nature trails leading off from the resort.
Planner Reviews
rate this property
There is an expectation when dealing with Westin properties. That expectation is the “wow” factor that you as a planner can extend your guests. The Westin Bear Mountain Victoria Golf Resort & Spa is no exception. The property is stunning, the staff amazing, and the “wow” factor enormous. We will definitely be back.
