Elite Overview
From the editors of Elite Meetings
Occupying an entire midtown block on fashionable Park Avenue, the legendary Waldorf=Astoria earned status as an official New York City landmark in 1993. Walking distance to Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center, this art-deco classic features 1,413 individually decorated guest rooms, a Guerlain Spa, three outstanding restaurants, and seven luxury boutiques located off the main lobby.
The sophistication of The Waldorf=Astoria also presents exciting possibilities for meetings, corporate events—even state dinners—with an array of suites, salons, and elegant banquet rooms. For extreme privacy, in-suite catering and hospitality staff can even transform New York’s most extravagant suites into especially discreet meeting spaces.
The Waldorf Towers occupies the most rarefied floors of The Waldorf=Astoria. Inspired by the tastes and desires of discerning guests and residents such as Frank Sinatra and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, the exclusive 181-room boutique hotel-within-a-hotel combines Old World sophistication with premium amenities.
While meeting planners can choose from 60,000 square feet of meeting and banquet rooms at The Waldorf=Astoria, the most exclusive groups might select venues in The Waldorf Towers. Choices include the Starlight Roof, now offering an exquisite art deco ballroom and breakout rooms easily accessible from Tower accommodations, and the Executive Meeting Center, whose 13 richly appointed rooms often serve for important product announcements, press conferences, and VIP corporate events.
Planner Reviews
From our planner community
Overall Rating: 10.0/10
The conference services staff always goes above and beyond when we have our executive events or board of directors meetings at the Waldorf. The food and beverage is exceptional, the meeting space is always set-up and ready to go, even with last minute changes or needs. These groups have to go seamlessly and I never worry when working with their team. I highly recommend this property and appreciate the exceptional service that they provide.
