The country-club atmosphere alone would make The Vilas of Grand Cypress a favorite for executive meetings. But the resort also features 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature golf, a Mediterranean-style conference center, residential-style accommodations, a helipad, limos, and shuttles to key Orlando destinations. Presiding over a world apart from the surrounding attractions, the meeting staff oversees everything from business seminars and presentations to luncheon breaks for 10 and awards dinners for 240.

The meeting center looks in on a central courtyard and out to scenic lake- and golf-side terraces. While its three ballrooms divide into eight soundproof venues, the adjoining Cypress Pavilion brings the grand total of enclosed, climate-controlled meeting space to 10,500 square feet. Popular themed events include a buffet dinner followed by a dressage and show-jumping exhibition at the resort's private equestrian center and poolside cocktails after instruction at the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf.

The choice of accommodations spans Club Suites and villas with up to four bedrooms. All provide at least 650 square feet of elegant living space and terraces with spectacular views of the surrounding waterways or fairways. A total of seven restaurants and 24-hour room service fuel delegates between meetings and rounds on the golf courses. Those with energy to spare pursue everything from tennis to sailing, hiking, fishing, and jaunts to the neighboring Walt Disney World theme parks.
