We did a smaller Reseller Conference at the Venetian last September (2007). The property was great! Of course, the meeting rooms were a little walk from the sleeping rooms - but that is typical Las Vegas!

The Venetian knows how to do meetings! Between Carver Wright (group sales manager) and the fantastic convention services staff you are guaranteed a top notch event at the Venetian! And Tao is off the hook! Our attendees love meetings at the Venetian because it's got it all - great meeting space, fantastic rooms (especially when you are planning a program with room-shares since all of the rooms are suites) and top-notch dining all throughout. LOVE THE VENETIAN!

The conference services staff at The Venetian was very helpful and professional. One of our meetings there was fairly intricate with multiple pieces of beverage equipment, signage, and A/V. Through the incredible help received by The Venetian's staff, we were able to pull off a successful meeting. The property itself is spectacular and the rooms are some of the largest in Las Vegas (standard rooms are suites). My husband and I visit personally and we continue to have corporate and customer meetings there. The Venetian is perfect for large scale and small scale meetings and events.

The $600 million Tower Located Between the Palazzo and Venetian Resorts Will Contain 398 Luxury Condos
LAS VEGAS, Sept. 4, 2008 - Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS) announced today that the company has reached an agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE:HOT) to develop The St. Regis Residences at the Venetian Palazzo, Las Vegas, a collection of 398 private luxury residences, introducing the renowned St. Regis brand to Las Vegas, Nevada. The residential project is currently under construction between Las Vegas Sands' Palazzo and Venetian resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.
"The St. Regis name is synonymous with luxury and when it is combined with preferred access to the world-class amenities of The Venetian and The Palazzo, there is little doubt that this residential product is one of the most compelling and exciting in the world," said Sheldon G. Adelson, chairman and chief executive officer of Las Vegas Sands Corp. "Those fortunate enough to purchase at The St. Regis Residences will have the rare opportunity to own a residence that is part of two world-class resorts in the heart of one of the most famous streets in the world."
Addressing would-be skeptics, Adelson said quality and luxury sell in any type of financial environment and, when combined with the premium location of these residences, he believes the company has a surefire winner. He cited August 2008 occupancy numbers for the Venetian and Palazzo -- nearly 95 percent -- as further proof of luxury offerings being able to prevail even during the traditionally "slower" summer months and in what is currently perceived as an overall difficult market for Las Vegas.

Las Vegas (January 21, 2008) - Launching with a spectacular music, fireworks and light show and culminating with a concert headlined by Diana Ross, The Palazzo Las Vegas-the new $1.9 billion luxury resort from Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS)-celebrated its grand opening this past weekend with a star-studded series of special events. Celebrities, VIP guests and media from around the country joined Las Vegas Sands executives for the historic occasion as the first new resort on the Las Vegas strip in nearly three years officially opened.
"This was a celebration not only of the opening of the most luxurious new resort on the Strip, but, when combined with The Venetian and the Sands Expo Center, the culmination of a vision to create the most compelling destination in all of Las Vegas," said Rob Goldstein, president and chief operating officer of The Palazzo. "The excitement, energy and positive response throughout the weekend provided a fitting opening for what is the new standard for luxury and sophistication in Las Vegas."
On Thursday, January 17, Las Vegas Sands executives including: Sheldon G. Adelson, chairman and CEO; William P. Weidner, president and COO; Brad H. Stone, executive vice president; and Rob Goldstein flipped the switch on a new era in Las Vegas with a music, firework and lighting spectacular.
The ensuing Grand Opening events included a 'Taste, Luxury & Humor VIP Reception' at Barneys New York, the 85,000 square-foot anchor to The Shoppes at The Palazzo. The event was attended by notable guests including Hillary Swank, Mandy Moore, James Denton, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell. A private party for VIPs and celebrities at the 40/40 Club featured a live performance from Pat Monahan of Train.
On Friday, The Shoppes at The Palazzo opened to the public, offering one of the most luxurious shopping destinations anywhere in the world. Set in a stunning atrium and anchored by Barneys New York, it features a mall esplanade under a glass walkway, generous amounts of natural light, and a two-story waterfall.
