Classic elegance and an expert, caring staff form a match made in heaven for meetings at The St. Regis New York. Recently refurbished by the designers of Sills Huniford, the timeless luxury of silk wall coverings, elaborate moldings, antiques, and custom furnishings joins impeccable service and the latest in twenty-first century technology.
Col. John Jacob Astor IV founded the hotel at the heart of Manhattan in 1904, and personalized attention to guests' needs and wishes still reaches some of the highest levels in New York. Discreet English-style butlers, for instance, attend the 164 guest rooms and 65 suites around the clock. The profound quality and character of such landmark hospitality does not happen overnight.
The hotel welcomes business groups to 15 upscale meeting rooms, a total of 15,000 square feet of event space. The most famous venue, the 4,300-square-foot-St. Regis Roof Ballroom, often entertains the New York social elite with spectacular views of their city from the twentieth floor. Its vaulted, cloud-dappled ceiling and gilded chandeliers lend an ethereal magic to corporate affairs.
After business sessions, group members can recharge at the Remí¨de Spa or complimentary fitness center, dine on international fare at the Astor Court, or savor exquisite French cuisine at Alain Ducasse's new Adour restaurant—a brand-new recipient of two Michelin stars. They can also enjoy a nightcap at the newly restored King Cole bar, where the merry old soul himself features prominently in a priceless and freshly restored Maxfield Parrish mural.
Planner Reviews
Average Rating: 10.00
After working with The St. Regis New York for more than eight years, this property has become my venue of choice in New York and is one of my top ten property choices globally. Service is always excellent from front lobby to conference services to banquets. The property and it's well trained staff excel in every area.
The hotel is exceptional also in it's suitability to high end corporate events and conferences. The rooftop's layout and location is perfect for those events requiring a high degree of confidentiality. All requests are answered with speed and efficiency and planners can place their confidence in this property's staff as a support team in many areas of conference planning. Catering and banquets can also be counted upon to provide excellent cuisine accompanied by old world style service.
