The St. Regis Deer Valley opened in late 2009 in park city, Utah, to the delight of guests who appreciate a magnificent natural setting and ski-in, ski-out access to Deer Valley Resort’s 2,026 legendary acres. Along with slopes billed as “the greatest snow on earth,” snow-time incentives include a ski lounge, ski valet service, and a one-of-a-kind ski beach complete with chaise lounges and a split-level infinity pool.
Another unique feature, a high-speed Swiss-built funicular, connects the two St. Regis buildings—one near Deer Valley’s Snow Park base lodge and the other resting 500 feet higher on the Deer Hollow ski run. When the snow melts, hiking and biking trails lead off between the aspens, and Deer Valley’s amphitheater launches its summer season of performing arts.
Back at home, the resort’s signature brand of refined luxury unfolds in 181 custom-designed guest rooms, including 67 one-bedroom suites. Services range from twice-daily housekeeping and 24-hour in-room dining to the attention of a St. Regis butler.
In addition, guests enjoy a 14,000-square-foot Remède Spa and 3,300-square-foot St. Regis Athletic Club; J&G Grill, a signature restaurant from Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges Vongerichten; a cafe; library; and 8,498 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space. All gatherings, large and small, benefit from St. Regis style, coordination, and attention to detail—the gold standard in personalized meetings support.

Fabulous property—what makes it hold that stature is the employees, who serve guests with the utmost professionalism and sincerity. Extremely high quality staff- that's the success here.

St. Regis Deer Crest Resort named to Conde Nast Traveller Hot List
Posted Apr 28, 2010 by chrisl
The St. Regis Deer Crest Resort was named among Concierge (Conde Nast Traveler's) 2010 Hot List. From the article, "Guests at this 181-room ski-in/ski-out newcomer are literally whisked into its air of exclusivity via a Swiss-built funicular with leather seating that scales the 230-vertical-foot ridge upon which the hotel is perched. Though the two-minute ride is a thrill, the tram's raison d'tre is more function than form: The 12-acre property is set in a gated enclave that's accessible only by a private road or ski slope. For the latter, skiers coming down the Deer Hollow run have the option of sliding into the hotel's ski valet station (where their every need is attended to by the crackerjack ski butlers) or pulling off for aprs fun at the full-service "ski beach," a 3,000-square-foot terrace with chaise longues and a 40-foot-long fire garden. Here revelers can soak up the sun, nibble on snacks from Jean-Georges Vongerichten's J&G Grill (which houses a decadent 6,000-bottle wine cellar), or take in the panorama of the mountains above or the scene at the multilevel heated pool below. The design here avoids ski-lodge clichs but maintains splendid common areas, including a cozy library and a grand lobby decorated with stone and wood finishes and splashes of rich red and orange hues. The palette migrates into supremely comfortable guest rooms that are outfitted with custom dark wood furniture, coma-enducing beds, and classic marble bathrooms that include a 17-inch LCD TV embedded in the mirror. Which room to book: Odd-numbered rooms ending in -01 through -19 offer slopeside views and are away from the pool area. Get one on the highest floor, seven." St. Regis to be First Branded Deer Valley Lodging Option
Posted May 15, 2009 by Carmen M
Upon completion, the St. Regis Deer Crest Resort and Residences will be the first globally recognized hotel brand to enter the Deer Valley lodging market. The St. Regis is officially scheduled to open Oct. 1, 2009 according to the Starwood Hotels website. An earlier press release published February 22, 2005 announced the luxury Deer Valley lodging resort would break ground in the near future with the grand opening sometime in the fall of 2007. The project seemed to grind to a halt during the summer of 2007 but gradually picked up its pace through the end of 2007 - beginning of 2008. Although hard to believe, the project is actually nearing completion as can be seen in the featured image. The branded resort will feature two buildings linked by a funicular tram. The lower Snow Park building is located just steps from the Deer Valley Snow Park Lodge, allowing visitors easy access via lower Deer Valley. The funicular tram will shuttle guests 500 feet uphill in only 90 seconds to the main Deer Crest building situated just off the Deer Hollow ski run for premier slope side ski access. The main Deer Crest building will host the Hotel's amenities, residences and Hotel-Condominiums. The outdoor amenities will make full use of the slope side location. The ski beach with its chaise lounges and great sun exposure provides a European inspired ski scene where socializing, lounging and dining are an integral part of the mountain experience. The St. Regis Deer Crest is a 10 floor development featuring 67 condo hotel suites, 26 private residences, and 180 luxury hotel rooms. The facility will also house the 14,000 -square foot spa and fitness center, infinity edge pool, decks and an area with fire pits. The hotel will also feature two new Deer Valley restaurant options, will offer room service, and private butlers will be available. http://www.elitemeetings.com/property/st-regis-deer-crest/
