St. Regis Atlanta brought new meaning to the term Southern hospitality when it opened April 14, 2009, in the elite Buckhead community of Atlanta, Georgia. Beyond the lobby's sinuous staircases and gracious hearths lie 151 butler-attended guest quarters, 53 private residences, Georgia's first Remí¨de Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 40,000-square-foot Pool Piazza with private cabanas, Jacuzzi, fireplace, bar, and lion's-head fountain.
The hotel redefines classic in everything from its residential decor to its casual fare at the Poolside Bar & Café, innovative American bistro cuisine at Paces 88, afternoon tea in The Long Gallery, and wine tastings in The Wine Room. When not meeting, dining, or socializing, guests live in spacious rooms and suites furnished in sumptuous fabrics, luxurious linens, leather-wrapped writing desks, marble bathrooms, and TVs inset behind the bathroom mirrors. Private butlers trained in the English tradition tailor every guest's stay according to individual preferences and tastes.
The custom approach applies to groups as well. The 16,800 square feet for business and social events adapts quickly to meet any agenda. The Astor Ballroom, for instance, divides into four private rooms, creating a total of eight rooms for smaller events and breakouts. Although the details vary widely for each group, the twinkling lights in the trees ensure a touch of Southern magic for every affair on the Astor Ballroom Balcony.
Planner Reviews
I have stayed in many 5-star and boutique hotels all over the world and I had to let you know that your staff has the perfect balance of customer service and sophistication, while being unpretentious.
