MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, May 19, 2008 The Setai, a luxury hotel and residences in Miami, announces the opening of The Setai Recording Studio, a state-of-the-art digital and analog recording facility created by Kravitz Design Inc.

The Setai Recording Studio is located in a two-floor penthouse suite in The Setai with
breathtaking ocean views and private outdoor patio. The studio exemplifies the serene Asian tone that defines The Setai with cast bronze, textured slate, and rich teak woods. Kravitz Design combines these elements with high concept vintage furniture, plush wool shag carpeting and custom hand-screened wallpaper to create an unexpected environment that is elegant, warm and luxurious.

The 2,500 square foot studio is outfitted with the industry's premiere equipment for both
analog & digital recording. A Solid State Logic C-200 Digital Console and ATC monitors allow engineers to quickly jump between projects while preserving the flow of a session. The recording facility is comprised of two live rooms, a vocal booth, control room, lounge and conference room to accommodate the diverse needs of the film, recording and entertainment industry. The studio also offers 5.1 high-definition audio and can be utilized for both film and video shoots. Since opening its doors this spring, a diverse list of some of music's top artists have chosen to record there, including Timbaland, Chris Cornell, Mary J Blige, Jay Z and Cat Power.

Matt Knobel (Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin), who has twenty-plus years of industry
experience, was hand selected by Kravitz to serve as the Studio Director and Chief Engineer. Knobel has worked extensively with Kravitz over the past decade. In addition, Matt brings to The Setai Recording Studio credits on more than sixty albums; numerous commercial, film and television specials; as well as a background in live touring and building of state-of-the-art studios and production suites.
