Known as the grande dame of Madison Avenue since her debut in 1924, The Roosevelt Hotel spans a full city block across from Grand Central Station. White-gloved porters usher guests into the grandeur of old New York, where they walk in the footsteps of celebrities, captains of industry, and countless inspiring figures on the world stage of history. Like the public areas and guest rooms, the 30,000 square feet of flexible ballrooms and breakout rooms thrill modern meeting planners and attendees alike.
The triple-tiered Grand Ballroom, for instance, captures the glamour of the 1920s for up to 1,000 attendees with its gilded ceiling, arched windows, and iron-laced balconies. Another standout—the oval-shaped, two-story Palm Room—embodies the classic ideal for up to 50 between its 12 towering pillars. The remaining 21 rooms for events host everything from executive board meetings to corporate banquets for up to 500. Experienced meeting professionals attend to every detail, ensuring that business groups receive the same white-glove service as individual guests.
Planners can also reserve the hotel's chic rooftop terrace and lounge, Mad46, for private parties wrapped in twentieth-story views of the city. Delegates between meetings and social events can drop by the rooftop lounge, Madison Club Lounge, Vander Bar, or fitness center to relax or recharge—or retreat to the contemporary comforts and period decor of their private guest quarters.
The meeting space layout was perfect to accommodate our program and the entire staff, from sales to on-site personnel, was a pleasure to work with.
