ST. LOUIS (February 22, 2007) " If youve gone green with your car, it will save you green in your wallet at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis. Effective immediately, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis is offering free valet parking for any hybrid gas vehicle.
Its a way for us to give something back to people trying to make a difference with the environment, said Erich Steinbock, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, and the man behind the eco-friendly idea. As a company, Ritz-Carlton Hotels is doing what we can to be greener, and this is a unique way for us to encourage environmentally friendly vehicles.
The free valet parking is something Mr. Steinbock plans to make a permanent perk for all hotel guests and visitors. All hybrid vehicles will be given a special green-colored valet parking pass to help identify them as eco-friendly.
