View RSS Feed RUMBAR, Miamis newest and only bar to feature 52 rums, cachacas and piscos from 18 countries opened with a lavish benefit hosted by Oscar-nominated actor Andy Garcia, who jammed with the bars resident band, Grupo Nostalgia in the bars casually sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere that hearkens back to Hemingway and old-Havana and draws crowds Thursday through Saturday when the five piece band holds court in white dinner jackets and bowties.

RUMBAR has the citys largest selection of rums from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Anguilla, Antigua, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Nicaragua, five rum flights for vertical tastings; VIP Rum Lockers to securely store ones own fine bottles (like Andy Garcias Bacardi 8) and a humidor cabinet with a cigar collection, all amidst plush leather furniture, vaulted ceiling fans and vintage black and white photos of old Havana.

Signature beverages, such as Capirinhas, Pisco Sour, and a Millionaires Mojito with Rhum Clement XO ($750 a bottle) add to the varied menu, while an innovative food menu showcases delicious cuisine like Sugar Cane Prawns, Mini-Short Rib Burgers and a Cuban sandwich with a twist.
