The Peninsula New York

The Peninsula New York combines the best of three worlds for top-level meetings. It unites the legendary service standard of the first Peninsula Hotel in Kong Kong, contemporary elegance with accents of art nouveau Paris, and a central location in midtown Manhattan.

Delegates gather in six salons on the third floor of the 23-story Beaux-Arts landmark. Renovated in fall 2009, the rooms incorporate the latest technology as well as luxuriously upholstered wall coverings, Murano glass chandeliers, and sleek stone floors. The staff specializes in executive meetings of all kinds, whether calling for multiple seating arrangements, audiovisual aids, or catering throughout the day. Readers of Travel + Leisure named The Peninsula New York the best business hotel in the city; Gourmet magazine ranked it among the top three hotels for business in all of North America.

Along with fresh, contemporary American cuisine at the restaurant Fives, and newly renovated accommodations, guests enjoy the time-honored tradition of afternoon tea or cocktails at the Gotham Lounge—renowned as a classic place for deal making in the city. In contrast to the lounge's sequestered interior mood, commanding views of Manhattan highlight the open-air feel of the glass-enclosed pool at the spa. The spa, pool, and fitness center take up the top three floors, sharing them only with the penthouse level's Salon de Ning, a glamorous new rooftop bar and terrace.
Planner Reviews
Corning Incorporated is a consistent client of the Peninsula New York for several reasons: outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and The Peninsula New York hotel rooms and meeting spaces are exactly what we expect for our executives. Our executives like the hotel rooms because they provide a quiet environment to relax in a busy city. We use the meeting space several times a year and find that the layout of the rooms and one floor location really is a benefit when managing several meetings.

We always look forward to our visits to the Peninsula where we feel comfortable and know that we are working with a world-class organization that will do anything to help make sure our time at the Peninsula is fulfilling. From Joe, who meets us at the front entrance, to Roly, who helps us with the room configurations, the entire Peninsula New York team makes us feel like we are one team working together to make our meetings successful.
