Housed in a 1927 landmark building at the corner of 77th Street and Madison Avenue, The Mark recently gained new luster following a recent renovation designed to achieve the heights of French style, British service, and American technology and comfort. Inside the newly renovated 1927 art deco landmark, 100 luxury guest rooms and 50 suites reveal distinctive decor by world-renowned designer Jacques Grange, who used a cosmopolitan blend of Italian, neo-classical, and avant-garde touches—supported by up-to-the-minute technologies. Coffered ceilings, Quagliotti linens, and private bars with sub-zero refrigerated drawers create the residential feel of an Upper East Side pied-í -terre.
The Mark Hotel features two meeting rooms totaling 850 square feet that overlook Madison Avenue and 77th Street. Complimentary wireless Internet access and IT experts ensure smooth communications for meetings. After hours, groups might dine at The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges, stroll through Central Park, or explore the treasures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum or the Guggenheim.
