New York, NY " 2008 " The London NYC (www.TheLondonNYC.com) has introduced new luxury private event space to midtown Manhattan, reinterpreting the luxury meeting and event experience. Following the launch of The London NYC in Fall 2006 featuring a complete redesign, the hotel unveils The Park, a private floor dedicated entirely to meeting and event space, which pays tribute to London Parks and consists of three versatile rooms " Green, St. James, and Hyde.

Located on the second floor, The Park floor offers a private entrance, expansive pre-function space and a permanent bar ensuring guests have an unsurpassed meeting and event experience. Grand yet minimalist, the full-service leather-clad crocodile print bar serves as an elegant reception area adjoining the three distinct rooms. The stunning bar is emphasized by ivy and green onyx and topped with nickel straps and adorned by a series of mirrors inspired by classic timepieces and offers Gordon Ramsay signature cocktails, an extensive wine list, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

The London NYCs Green room offers views of 54th Street and 900 square feet of formal meeting space with a capacity of 60 suitable for intimate meetings or large conferences. Custom-designed by David Collins, the walls of the Green room are covered in hand-sewn flora silk paper in sage green with red silk embroidery and buttoned chairs covered in cherry leather to ensure guests have an exceptional meeting experience. Adjacent to the Green room is a more intimate space, the 336 square foot St. James room which is perfect for a sit-down dinner for 20, yet has the capability of connecting to the Green room to create a larger meeting area.

With 1012 square feet, the Hyde room can accommodate up to 80 and can also be divided into two separate rooms, Hyde North and Hyde South. Designed to evoke a sense of escapism, the walls shimmer with reflective hand-painted gold leaf wallpaper created to evoke an ornate chinoisere scene of an English landscape. The luxury private event spaces at The London NYC offer state-of-the-art technology and business services including top-quality sound systems and speakers with advanced design and sound amplification and high-tech audio visual equipment including 4x6 plasma drop down screens. Wireless internet connection, and hard wired and house phones are also available in each event room. To ensure that the needs of each and every guest is met during the event or meeting, Quintessentially, The London NYCs on-site global concierge service, will serve as an event concierge and offer impeccable service and attention before and throughout each event. Upon request, Quintessentially will also provide a concierge to be present during the event in its entirety.

The London NYC also offers unprecedented culinary options provided by world-renowned chef, Gordon Ramsay, currently holding twelve Michelin-Stars. Exemplary gourmet cuisine, superior and intuitive service, immaculate presentation and an overall customized catering experience guarantees that guests will have an affair to remember.
Event planners will have a variety of menu options to choose from for lunch and dinner, including a 3-course option, a 5-course option, a Vegetarian menu, and a Canap menu. For event guests that have a limited amount of time for lunch, Gordon Ramsay offers a Working Lunch menu that includes a variety of salads, sandwiches, and desserts. For breakfast meetings, a The London NYC offers a full continental breakfast option or a Full English Breakfast, which includes traditional English cuisine as well as additional breakfast dishes. Event guests can also experience Gordon Ramsays traditional English Tea Service that includes a selection of English teas, pastries, and sandwiches. The London NYC is also the site of the coveted chefs first U.S. restaurant, Gordon Ramsay at the London and maze which features a custom menu featuring modern French cuisine taking cues from its renowned London counterpart, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay on Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea. With seating for 45, The London Bar serves wines and cocktails, a Bites menu of bar snacks, and a traditional English breakfast and afternoon English tea service.

Business travellers conducting in-room meetings also have the option of utilizing functional work stations that include top-of-the line in-room technology such as laptop compatible Zenith LCD Flat screen TVs, wireless internet and Mitel 5330 telephones. For the trans-Atlantic business and leisure travellers, The London NYC offers free phone calls to London for up to 8 hours a day and a special in-room dining menu designed by Gordon Ramsay available 24 hours a day.

The London NYC also offers 10 luxury suites including the glamorous 2,500 square foot duplex penthouse opening in March 2008, the highest hotel room in New York overlooking a magnificent view of Central Park.
