The Langham, Boston faces Post Office Square a stone's throw from Boston Harbor, the Freedom Trail, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The Renaissance-style edifice originally held the Federal Reserve Bank. Today, nearly 90 years of history add to the rich character of one of Boston's most up-to-date luxury hotels.

The Langham's business and social spaces range from 11 meeting rooms (as beautiful as they are functional) to the glittering Wilson Ballroom. Delegates gathered at Café Fleuri dine on epicurean fare beneath the building's original six-story skylight. Or, they head to Boston's newest hot spot: Bond restaurant and lounge, which specializes in small plates of global cuisine, signature cocktails, and a live DJ Thursday through Sunday evenings.

This may be the best kept secret in Boston. It is a beautiful property tucked away in the heart of the financial district. The doormen assists you from your taxi and from the moment you enter the lobby you have no choice but to simply absorb and enjoy.

Lunch in the restaurant makes you feel as though you are in a stylish European salon and the menu is always fresh and appealing. The smallest details are addressed and don't be surprised when the very elegant General Manager approaches your table to greet and welcome you to his very special property.

The large meeting space is on the second floor adjacent to the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and extremely well appointed. The dimensions are exactly what Goldilocks would have wanted.....not too big nor too little, but just right.

Rooms are extremely comfortable and the beds are "blissful". The thread count on the sheets convinces you at first touch that you should attempt to spend as much time in your room as possible. But you really should venture out and experience the fitness center and treat yourself to a spa visit. Once your health and fitness has been restored, then stop at Bond, the hotel bar for a libation of two.

This is a wonderful property that has been well cared for and updated as recently as 2008 with a soft-goods renovation and addition of spa and fitness center. The sales and conference service staff will take very good care of your group. This is the hotel in Boston that I will be returning to again and again.

Charming hotel - attentive front desk and bell staff. Comfortable rooms, wonderful location in the financial area of Boston. Welcoming and cozy. Restaurant is pricy.
