The Greenbrier

Celebrated as “America's Resort,” The Greenbrier represents more than to centuries of history with its stately architecture, period decor, meticulously sculpted gardens and impeccable service. Located in White Sulphur Springs, amid West Virginia's scenic Allegheny Mountains, the five diamond–awarded resort has hosted almost every reigning president since the Civil War, and keeps guests returning again and again to relish in storybook opulence, stunning natural surroundings, and a vast array of activities.

Meeting professionals appreciate the resort's 85,000 square feet of flexible convention space, from intimate meeting and breakout rooms to lavish ballrooms and theater events as well as meeting and exhibit space in the famed underground bunker. State-of-the-art multimedia and audiovisual equipment come standard in all meeting facilities, while a technical support staff stands by to ensure a flawless conference experience.

With a 6,500-acre playground and an endless list of recreational pursuits at their feet, groups can spend just as much time outdoors. Thrilling team-building events such as white-water rafting, sporting clays, off-road driving, and ascents of the Alpine Tower are as popular as falconry, bowling, golf on three championship courses, and visits to the spa and its famous sulphur springs. And recently, the resort added gaming in the guests-only casino to the mix. Come nighttime, guests satisfy their palate at the eight restaurants and lounges on-site before retreating to 721 superior accommodations, including plush suites, deluxe cottages, and lavish estate homes.
