The Southern California lifestyle reached new heights when Fairmont Newport Beach completed a $32 million makeover in 2005. All 440 guest quarters received a tone update to rye, gold, and cayenne with tumbled granite, woven cane, and wood accents. Flat-panel TVs, marble foyers, deep-soaking tubs, and Egyptian-cotton duvets and linens followed. A sparkling new 8,000-square-foot Willow Stream Spa completed the transformation.

Fairmont Newport Beach caters to business meetings and corporate events with 17,000 square feet of event space, including two ballrooms, two boardrooms, 17 meeting rooms, and the 150-capacity indoor/outdoor Orchid Terrace. The hotel's proximity to John Wayne Airport and complimentary shuttle service between the two add another compelling attribute: convenience.
